Formula

• Affirmative      : S + would + V1
• Negative           : S + would + not + V1
• Interrogative : Would + S + V1

 

Example

• Affirmative : He would come if you invited him.
• Affirmative : They would buy a home the previous day.

• Negative : He wouldn’t come if invited him.
• Negative : They wouldn’t buy a home the previous day.

 

• Interrogative : Would He come if invited him?
• Interrogative : Would they buy a home the previous day?
